We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage. The historic features blended seamlessly with modern amenities like a TV and WiFi. The fully equipped kitchen and welcome package were a delightful surprise. The garden was a perfect spot to relax and let our dogs roam. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location was great for country walks and exploring the Yorkshire Dales. We can't wait to book again and bring our family!

More breakfast choices would have been nice.

The cottage was incredibly clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings. the owners were friendly and provided thoughtful essentials upon arrival, such as tea, coffee, and bread. the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals, and the garden provided a lovely space to relax. the surrounding area offered beautiful country views and a gentle circular walk.

The wifi access and TV channels were limited due to poor signal in the area.

Lovely village, cosy, well-equipped cottage, comfortable beds, quiet location, great base for exploring the dales. Cute garden, resident ponies and donkeys, close to Yorkshire tourist attractions. Fabulous food at local pub, handy shop next door. Spotlessly clean, like home from home. Excellent view from kitchen window. Bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, and orange juice provided on arrival.

The cottage was incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean, making it the best self-catering place we've stayed in. It had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a welcoming pack with essential foodstuffs. The location was ideal, with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, easy parking, and quick access to beautiful towns, villages. We particularly enjoyed the cute garden and patio, perfect for relaxing in. The owners were very responsive, making communication easy.

The lack of lighting in the dining room, which could have been improved. the front garden and exterior of the property looked a bit run-down, although the inside and back of the cottage were great.

Charming period cottage with lovely features. Comfy sofas and comfy beds with lovely linen. Good size bath and lots of hot water. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely back garden area with a view. Friendly village atmosphere.

Location wasn't great for us, with limited options for food and opening hours of the pub. Fireplace in the living room was not available for use.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the complimentary bread, jam, and milk were a pleasant surprise. the location was perfect for getting away from it all, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. the friendly and helpful hosts added to the overall positive experience.

There was no WiFi as advertised, which was a bit inconvenient, especially since there was also no phone signal in the village. the lack of TV channels was also disappointing, but this was due to a fire at one of the masts and out of the owner's control.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and well-facilitated, with clean and crisp white bed linen and towels. They even provided basic essentials in the fridge like milk, butter, juice, and bread, which was a nice touch. The village itself was lovely and friendly, and the location was great for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. The wifi access was very poor, which was frustrating as we couldn't stay connected or use our devices properly.

We had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage in a peaceful village. The cottage had beautiful features and a lovely garden, giving us a serene and private atmosphere. The location was surrounded by breathtaking scenery, perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The complimentary bread, jam, and milk were a delightful surprise. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to comfortably prepare meals. The comfortable sofas and bed, along with the lovely linen, made for a cozy and relaxing stay. The cottage also had a good-sized bath with plenty of hot water. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like a chilly kitchen in the autumn and a functional but not relaxing bathroom, our overall experience was wonderful.
